Building Minds Through Scrabble—Project Management & Mentorship for PEDSCA Initiative
My first experience as a project manager started with PEDSCA, a project focused on helping children and teenagers grow mentally through Scrabble games and life mentorship. It wasn’t just work for me; it was something I cared deeply about.
At the time, I didn’t have a big team or budget, but I had the drive to make it work. I managed both the planning and the teaching side of things. I broke the whole project into clear stages so we could track progress and stay focused:
Project Initiation: I started with just an idea to help kids learn and think better. So I went to the schools myself, taught them, guided them, and laid the foundation.
Planning: I made a plan for every part of the project, from the materials we needed to how many sessions we’d hold, and even how to communicate updates clearly.
Execution: I was in charge of making sure everything ran smoothly—getting the materials ready, setting up the environment, and being present during every step.
Monitoring: I used simple tools to track how we were doing and made changes when something wasn’t working. It helped us stay on track.
Closing: We successfully wrapped up the project by December 2022, and one of the proudest moments for me was when the project was featured in the Nigerian Tribune. It showed that we had truly done something meaningful.
I also picked up mobile photography during this time. I started taking pictures of the children’s growth and the sessions. It made me appreciate the small details and taught me how to tell stories visually.

Overview:
Credard is a digital product designed to solve a common creative and functional problem — the lack of easily accessible, aesthetic credit card designs for designers, developers, fintech brands, and banks. The platform functions as a credit card design library where users can explore, customize, and download card templates in multiple formats (JPG, PNG, SVG, PDF, and even code snippets).
Problem Statement:
Designing credit cards from scratch can be time-consuming and often lacks inspiration. Designers need creative direction, while developers may struggle to visualize compelling UI/UX for cards. Credard solves this by offering a growing library of unique, premade card designs.
